No Crave Mini Pumpkin Ice Cream Sundae
We’re in the first week of October, so it’s definitely time to decorate pumpkins ice cream! I love using fno-carve methods because the options are truly endless when it comes to making creations!
Today, I want to show you how to win your pumpkin decorating contest at work — and that way is through the judge’s stomachs — Ice Cream! You can use Mini Pumpkins (mine were on a pick) to create it making it cost-effective and way too cute for words!
NO CARVE MINI-PUMPKIN ICE CREAM SUNDAE
If you’re more of a visual learner, watch my YouTube Tutorial:
TO MAKE THIS NO C ARVE MINI-PUMPKIN ICE CREAM SUNDAE, YOU’LL NEED:
- Pumpkin Picks
- Poly Fil
- Paint
- Wooden Beads
- Nail Polish
First, paint the pumpkins your flavors of choice. I went with the traditional chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. Once they were dry, I squeezed the “toppings” on, which was paint, and allowed to dry overnight.
To make the whipped cream, I tore off a piece of Poly-Fil and rolled it up in a circle, then hot glued it to the top of the pumpkin. Then, I painted the wooden beads cherry red and topped them on top of the whipped cream — because who doesn’t love a cherry on top!
All in all, this No-Carve DIY Pumpkin took me about 30 active minutes of crafting, but I did have to wait that 24 hours for the paint to dry. To speed up the process, you could use a hairdryer to help dry your paint faster.
All this week I’ll be sharing out-of-the-box no carve pumpkin decorating ideas to get your fall off to a cute start!
