It’s Wednesday – and that means that Christmas is only a few days away! One of my favorite things about blogging are the virtual friends I have made! A group of DIY, Craft and Home Decor Bloggers decided we liked each other so much that we should do a Secret Santa gift exchange! My sweet friend Sara from Shabby Grace Blog organized all of the Secret Santa Shenanigans, and I’m so glad she did. Let me tell you – this is the easiest gift exchange I’ve done all year! I was the Secret Santa to my sweet friend Tee from Beau-tee-ful Living, and I had been following her blog (and her one room challenge) for awhile now, and I felt like we were kindred decor sisters!
My friend Kim from Knock-it-off Crafts was my Secret Santa – and I’m seriously in awe at how she knew my style so well! Most of my houses real estate is caught up with Christmas right now, so everything has found it’s spot in my craft room. The most minimalist room of them all!
Kim got me:
Some seriously yummy gingerbread coffee (We tried it this morning… it will absolutely put you in the Christmas spirit!)
A mirror “D”
An agate stone
A modern gold rhino
Did she hit my style spot on, or what? I actually had walked by this sweet little rhino several times (and even picked him up once!), because I thought he was so insanely cute. I’ve also been wanting an agate stone for who-knows-how-long. As always, anything mirrored makes a space feel bigger and brighter instantly.
Meeting friends through blogging is hands-down the best part of blogging. I’m so thankful for starting my blog in April of this year, and then really digging in and meeting friends through the process.
I think you’ll love Kim’s blog! Some of my favorite posts from her are:
