I look for the perfect New Years Eve Cocktail every year to enjoy with my husband before we head off to our parties! This year, I wanted to make something simple and festive for us to enjoy that didn’t have many ingredients!
For New Years Eve this year, we will enjoy dinner just the two of us and then we’ll head over to bring in the new year with our squad — our closest friends!
I decided to mix the flavors of the holidays with the traditional flavors of New Years Eve – so in this cocktail there’s champagne and cranberries, yum!
New Years Eve Cocktail
1 part cranberry syrup (cranberries, sugar and water; alternatively you can use cranberry juice)
2 parts champagne
A cute and classy set of Champagne Flutes
First, pour in your champagne about halfway up your champagne flute.
Then, top the champagne with cranberry syrup. You can do this to taste – I don’t care for champagne on it’s own and I prefer to sweeten it up a bit.
To make this cranberry syrup, I brought cranberries, sugar and water to a boil, then I strained the cranberries out and added more sugar and water until it was the consistency and flavor I wanted!
So today I joined together with a group of bloggers for a virtual cocktail party! So, in the box below, you’ll see everything from cocktails to placards for your parties! These can also be done any time of year — not just Christmas and New Years Eve! Just change out colors and flavors until it’s perfect for your liking.
Which one will you visit next? I can’t wait to try out the Fluffer Nutter Hot Cocoa Shooters! Maybe I’ll take those to the party with me!
By the way – are you following me on Instagram? I just posted a champagne tower featuring this recipe and you absolutely need to see it!
