EASY COCKTAIL

Looking for an easy cocktail to make for your holiday guests? Look no further!

#MyReason for holiday decorating is purely to create memories. We want to create memories with friends and family, as well as between ourselves. One of the things we do is put up a tree, garland, stockings — the whole shebang! But, we can’t leave out making our home comfortable for the holidays.

Mr. Dean and I were talking the other day about how we wanted to up our bar game at our house. We love the idea of entertaining well, whether that be with cocktails, wine or even a hot beverage like hot chocolate.  want to create a space for our friends and family to come and have a place where they don’t feel like they have to pitch in, and they can just relax and have a good time.

We bought a couple of containers for hot chocolate as well as some fancy barware from At Home! You and I love shopping there for everything, including Odds-and-Ends like barware. We found some great glasses, ice cube trays, and even a shaker bottle and wine chiller.

One of our favorite easy cocktail recipes is the Velvet Elvis! We had it at a restaurant a couple of months ago, and just decided it was going to be our house signature! It’s not too sweet, not too ‘harsh’ in terms of liquor and is so delicious!
