Circus Animal Cookie Ice Cream

CIRCUS ANIMAL COOKIE ICE CREAM

Did you know that July is National Ice Cream Month?

Ice Cream is my favorite food in the entire world! This spring, a dairy chain in the state of Oklahoma, Braums, released some new ice creams. One of them was Circus Animal Cookie Ice Cream — and boy, was it a treat! However, the flavor was only seasonal and I’ve been missing the Ice Cream since!

So — you know where this is going — I decided to make my own Circus Animal Cookie Ice Cream, and boy did it hit the spot?!

*Ps: A video is coming someday… but I’d rather you have this delicious recipe today! 😉

First, soften your Ice Cream – you can do this by leaving it on the counter. It is important to remember that if you eat your vanilla ice cream now, there will be no circus animal  ice cream later. Crush up your pink candy melts into small pieces. Divide your circus animal cookies in half – and crush half of them until they’ve broken into two or three pieces. Once your ice cream is soft, pour it into a bowl. Add in all your circus animal cookies and candy melts. Fold until the mixture is just combined. Then, add in a couple of shakes of round sprinkles – mix, then cover and put into the freezer.
